As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for finding and implementing machine- and/or mechatronic solutions that enable Bond3d’s printing process.

What will you do?

Bond3d is developing a revolutionary 3D printer that your contribution as a Mechanical Engineer will be very helpful for.

You are responsible for finding and implementing machine- and/or mechatronic solutions that enable Bond3d’s printing process. You are also responsible for the correct mechanical definition of all machine parts. You communicate with other Engineers in the System team, but also with other teams, such as the Process and Software team.

  • You understand the mechanical needs of component, module, and system design
  • You create mechanical solutions for machine or module improvements
  • You create solutions for the machine parts within cost targets
  • You document the results
  • You provide clear communication to your team members and colleagues

In this role, you will have many opportunities to develop further and you will work with a variety of technologies.

What do we expect from you?

  • HBO or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Strong affinity with Additive Manufacturing
  • 3D CAD experience (e.g., Solidworks)
  • Experience with high-grade plastics and FEM (material strength and/or heat transfer) is a plus
  • Excellent command of English
  • Fluency in German is a plus.
